If it is deemed necessary the patient must complete a consultation with our Independent Prescribing Pharmacist before commencing treatment.
The consultation includes:
Following consultation, our Independent Prescribing Pharmacist will determine whether treatment is clinically appropriate. We reserve the absolute right to refuse treatment if it is deemed unsuitable or unsafe. No refund of consultation fees (if applicable) will be provided if treatment is declined on clinical grounds.
To be eligible for treatment through NuVina, you must:
You have an absolute obligation to provide complete, truthful and accurate information about your medical history, current medicines (including OTC and supplements), allergies and health conditions. Our clinical team relies entirely on the information you provide to make prescribing decisions. Any omission, misrepresentation or false information may result in immediate termination of treatment without refund. We accept no liability for adverse outcomes arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.
Your Warranty & Indemnity. You warrant that all information you provide is complete and accurate and that you will promptly update us before any further supply if anything changes. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us and North Park Pharmacy for losses reasonably and directly arising from your breach of this warranty or using a product contrary to instructions, except where caused by our or our clinicians' negligence.
GLP-1 medications must be used strictly as prescribed. By accepting treatment, you agree to:
GLP-1 therapy requires gradual dose increases to minimise side effects and optimise safety. Your treatment plan includes:
You must not deviate from this schedule without clinical authorisation.
Weight-management treatment with GLP-1 medications is intended as a time-limited intervention:
We reserve the right to discontinue treatment if weight-loss targets are not met within reasonable timeframes, treatment is no longer clinically indicated, you experience contraindications or adverse effects, or you fail to comply with monitoring requirements.
All GLP-1 medications carry known, disclosed risks, including serious side effects. By agreeing to treatment, you acknowledge and accept that:
This clause does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
You may discontinue treatment at any time by notifying Nuvina@NorthParkPharmacy.onmicrosoft.com.
Refunds:
Strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate termination:
We employ monitoring systems to detect abuse. If abuse is suspected or detected:
To prevent misuse we may require: mandatory Independent Prescribing Pharmacist consultations, regular clinical reviews, prescription quantity limits aligned with dose schedules, identity verification, cross-checking against pharmacy databases where appropriate, and GP verification of medical history where appropriate.
All prescriptions are subject to review by:
You agree to participate in ongoing monitoring including: periodic weight and BMI assessments; side-effect reporting; clinical check-ins (phone, video or questionnaire); blood tests if clinically indicated; and communication with your GP (with your consent). Failure to comply may result in suspension of treatment.
Prescriptions are issued at the discretion of our clinical team. We aim to review requests within 24 hours. If your request is declined, you will be notified with reasons and no charge will be made. You may request re-assessment if circumstances change.
Approved prescriptions are dispensed by North Park Pharmacy (GPhC: 1126488). Medication is delivered via tracked, discreet postal service to your registered UK address only.
Repeat prescriptions are based on clinical assessment. Typical parameters:
Professional standards and legal restrictions limit quantities supplied. You will not usually receive more than one month's supply every 28–30 days unless clinically justified.
Payment is taken when the prescription is approved and passed to the pharmacy for dispensing. Subscription payments are taken 48 hours before scheduled dispatch.
For safety and regulatory reasons, we cannot accept returns of prescription medications. This is because we cannot verify integrity once medicines leave our control, GLP-1 medications may be temperature-sensitive, and regulations prohibit re-dispensing returned medicines.
Refunds are provided only if:
No refunds are provided for change of mind after dispensing, side effects or perceived ineffectiveness, voluntary termination after dispensing, or termination due to non-compliance.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, prescription-only medicines are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off right once dispensing has begun, for reasons of health protection.
We may refuse treatment or decline a prescription for clinical or operational reasons including: clinical unsuitability or contraindications; insufficient or unreliable medical information; inability to verify identity; suspected abuse or misuse; non-compliance with protocols; failure to attend Mandatory Consultation; supply constraints.
We may terminate your treatment immediately without notice if you breach these Terms, provide false or misleading information, are suspected of misuse, fail to comply with clinical instructions, treatment becomes clinically inappropriate, you fail to respond to requests for information, or adverse effects require discontinuation. No refunds are provided where termination is due to your breach.
Once medication is delivered to the postal address you provide, risk transfers to you. You are responsible for preventing access by others (including children and pets), for safe storage (including any cold-chain requirements) and for safe disposal of sharps.
We do not accept liability for damages, losses or adverse outcomes resulting from:
Our service does not replace your NHS GP or regular healthcare provider. You must maintain GP registration, inform your GP of treatment (we facilitate this with your consent) and consult your GP for other health concerns.
In an emergency, call 999 or attend A&E immediately. Do not rely on our service for urgent medical advice.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
We are legally required to maintain patient records for a minimum of 8 years following your last order or prescription. Records may include your personal details, medical history, consultation notes, prescriptions, treatment history, clinical assessments, and correspondence. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
We may share your information with: your NHS GP (with your consent); North Park Pharmacy (for dispensing); our Clinical Team; regulators where required by law; and law enforcement where illegal activity is suspected.
We operate under the Medicines Act 1968, Human Medicines Regulations 2012, GPhC Standards, GMC Good Medical Practice, UK GDPR/Data Protection Act 2018, and applicable Scottish healthcare regulation.
